How do I join?
Simple. Click on the "Join" tab above and you will be taken to a registration page. Submit your completed registration form and we will confirm your membership within minutes. Just by joining you will go into our quarterly 'New Members' draw!
What does it cost?
Absolutely nothing! Membership is free
Are my details safe?
Absolutely! Unlike other research panels Acorn will never be used for sales or direct marketing - so we will only contact you to see if you're interested in sharing your opinion on different topics, never to try and sell you anything. We abide by strict privacy laws so we guarantee that:

* You will not receive unsolicited emails from us other than surveys and necessary updates
* You will not be asked to buy anything from us we will not give, sell or trade your e-mail address to any third parties

I didn't receive the email confirmation message - what should I do?
Please check your 'junk-mail' folders to see if the email confirmation message has been delivered there. Also you can add confirm@acornideas.com.au and acorn@acornideas.com.au to your address book.

To have the confirmation email resent to you, visit the forgotten password page and enter your email address (username) - the confirmation message will be resent.
I can't sign in - what should I do.
Did you receive an email confirmation message and click the link as described in the message? View the topic "I didn't receive the email confirmation message - what should I do?"

Have you forgotten your password? Retrieve it using the forgotten password page
I forgot my password, what do I do?
Click the Forgot password link. When prompted, enter your email address that you registered with and we'll email your password to you.
How do I update my details and password?
Sign In with your current email and password. Click the Update Profile button that appears in the bottom left box on your My Acorn page. Enter your new details in the relevant fields and click the "Update Detail" tab. If you change your email address, you will receive an email at your new email address asking you to confirm the change by clicking the confirmation link in the message.
I can't see any surveys to answer.

We will email you directly to invite you to answer surveys.

You can see survey's that are waiting for you on your My Acorn page.

Please add 'acorn @ acornideas.com.au' to your whitelists or address book to ensure that you can receive our invitations.

I can't see any polls to answer.

We don't always have a poll live, and some polls are only available for a few days!

If you receive an email saying new polls are available - Try and answer them within 1 or 2 days of receving the email.

How do I close my account?
For security we require members to close their accounts online. To do this follow the steps below.
  1. Sign In with your current email and password.
  2. Click the Update Profile button that appears in the bottom left box on your My Acorn page.
  3. Tick the unsubscribe confirmation box and then click the unsubscribe button.
