TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Promotion commences 01/03/2010 00:00:01AM. Entries close midnight AEDST on 28/08/2010 11:59:59PM ('Promotional Period').
- All eligible participants (and the friends they refer) in the draw must be active members of Acorn Ideas on the last day of the promotional period day of the draw. Members of the Acorn Ideas are subject to the terms of use of the Acorn Ideas as available at www.acornideas.com.au.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the terms of use of the Acorn Ideas website or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
- Multiple entries permitted for the Tell a Friend Draw, subject to each entry being submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
- To enter, Acorn Ideas members must complete invite a friend to join using the 'Tell a Friend' feature on the Acorn Ideas website (www.acornideas.com.au) and the friend invited must join Acorn Ideas within the promotional period. Each friend that joins equals one entry into the Tell a Friend Draw conducted at the end of that promotional period. Individuals are limited to having one Acorn Ideas Account.
- The draw will take place at The WebMart Network, Level 1, 17 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay, NSW 2089 on 02/09/2010 at 2.00pm (AEDST). Winners will be notified by e-mail and winners names will be published on the Announcements Section of the Acorn website (www.acornideas.com.au) on 05/09/2009. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The first valid entry drawn from all entries in the Tell A Friend Draw will win a Coles Group and Myer gift Card to the value of $200.
- If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian.
- Total prize pool value is $200. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.
- The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on 08/12/2010 at 2.00pm (AEDST) in order to distribute the prizes if unclaimed by that date subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. In the event of a winner in the unclaimed prize draw, their name will be published Announcements Section of the Acorn website (www.acornideas.com.au) on 10/12/2010.
- If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant;or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.

- By becoming a member of Acorn and entering the competition, the entrant consents to receipt of any email regarding Acorn (www.acornideas.com.au), Pacific Magazines Research, Pacific Magazines, the competition, and other emails which inform the entrant of the Promoter's publications, products, services and events.

- All eligible participants in the draw must be active members of the Acorn Research Panel on the last day of the promotional period day of the draw. Members of the Acorn Research Panel are subject to the terms of use of the Acorn Research Panel as available at www.acornideas.com.au.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the terms of use of the Acorn Research Panel or who tampers with the entry process. - To enter, new and existing Acorn research panel members must complete a survey or poll which they have been invited to complete within the promotional period. Surveys must be completed and submitted online (via acornideas.com.au) using the links provided online and/or by email. Each completed survey/poll equals one entry into the Member Participation Draw conducted at the end of that promotional period. Each survey/poll can be completed by each member once only.
- The draw will take place at The WebMart Network, Level 1, 17 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay, NSW 2089 on 05/06/2010 at 2.00pm (AEDST). Winners will be notified by e-mail and winners’ names will be published on the Announcements Section of the Acorn website (www.acornideas.com.au) on 09/06/2010. - The first two (2) valid entry drawn from all entries in the Member Participation Draw will win a cash prize of $1000. The next fifty (50) valid entries drawn from all entries in the Member Participation Draw will each win a cash prize of $50.
- Cash prizes will be paid by Bank Transfer (EFT). Winners will be notified by email and directed to a secure site to supply their bank details for payment. Winners are solely responsible for supplying correct bank details to the promoter for payment of prizes. The promoter accepts no liability for incorrectly supplied Bank Details that may lead to delay or non-payment of prize(s). If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian.

- Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 14 years or over who join the Acorn research panel, operated by the Promoter during the promotional period. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
